About Hatzalah Emergency Rescue Centers |

THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL DON’T REST... SO WE CAN’T
Suicide Bombers and Rocket Attacks are a daily reality for Israelis.
High quality emergency medical facilities and field responders are a
necessity for Israel as we struggle to build our nation.
Hatzalah Emergency Rescue Centers are located in Israel's most isolated
and dangerous areas, serving as hubs for coordination of medical
personnel, supplies, equipment, and treatment. Our mission is to ensure
the finest medical care and emergency response services are available in
all parts of Israel. To do so we work closely with local municipalities,
MDA, and the IDF to provide a number of services throughout Israel:
- Renovating medical facilities
- Adding buildings to existing medical facilities
- Constructing ambulance bays
- Staffing medical facilities
- Coordinating volunteers at centers and in the field
- Purchasing and upgrading medical equipment
We have established Centers along the Lebanese border, in the Jordan
Valley, in the Shomron, and are in the process of expanding to cover the
Gaza Border. Our Centers are the often the only major medical facilities
for at least an hour in any direction.
Hatzalah Emergency Rescue Centers ensure that there are standards of
excellence in critical care and trauma treatment throughout Israel.
We train, equip, supply and coordinate emergency response teams spread
through the country with an average response time of 3 minutes to any
call. Our first responder services include:
- Coordinating medical response teams
- Equipping ambulances and EMTs
- Constructing ambulance bays
- Providing medical supplies and restocking EMT field kits
- Providing radios for field communication and bullet-proof vests
- Training new EMT's and ambulance drivers
Maintaining comprehensive medical care which supports the health of the
community and saves lives in emergencies is expensive. However, we
believe that human lives are too precious to be lost due to inadequate
treatment.
Please become a Hatzalah Emergency Rescue Center Sponsor with a one time
gift or monthly donation. A commitment to saving lives, starting as low
as $15 a month, will make a tremendous impact on the health and well
being of Israelis.
